Our Licensed Technicians

We are the nurses on the battleground of your pet’s health!
As veterinary technicians, we take special care and interest in our patients, treating them as if they were our own. We are responsible for the nursing care of your pet during his or her stay with us. This nursing care includes TLC during a doctor’s exam, hospitalization, and post-operative care. While your veterinarian treats and researches your pet’s needs, we veterinary technicians tend to your pet’s physical needs such as fluid therapy, diagnostics, surgery, anesthesia, and dentistry.
Our staff of technicians attends educational seminars throughout the year to stay current with the most advanced techniques and to better acquaint ourselves with what your pet needs during its most crucial time.
Behind the scenes, we are much more than animal lovers. As technicians, we attend to your pet’s diagnostic care, run lab work, take and develop radiographs, fill medication orders, and better educate you about your pet’s needs at home.
If you ever have any questions about your pet’s care or procedures, please ask us — the educated and friendly technicians of Madison Veterinary Hospital!
